Gillian Byrne
Gillian Byrne graduated from Dalhousie University's School of Library and Information Studies in 2000. She is currently a public services librarian at the QEII Library, and also chairs the Memorial University Libraries Web Team. Susan Cleyle
Susan Cleyle has a B.A. from Mount Allison University and an M.L.I.S from Dalhousie University. She is currently Associate University Librarian at Memorial University of Newfoundland and President of the Canadian Association of College and University Libraries. Prior to this, Su was involved with library systems. Here she learned that technology has a human factor that needs to be nurtured for any library to have a successful automated service structure. Su has written and spoken on a variety of topics throughout her career. Lisa Goddard
Lisa Goddard is the Division Head for Systems with Memorial University of Newfoundland Libraries. She holds degrees from Queen's University (BA hon.), McGill University (MLIS), Memorial University of Newfoundland (Graduate Dip. I.T.) and is a Cisco Certified Network Associate. Lisa is currently the co-convenor of the CLA's Emerging Technologies Interest Group. Before joining the glamorous world of library systems, Lisa worked as an Information Services Librarian at Marianapolis College in Montreal. Recent projects include the development of dynamic web interfaces which provide custom access to the ILS, OpenURL implementation, and digital library planning and development. Janneka L. Guise
Janneka L. Guise recently started a new position as Information Services Librarian/Co-Coordinator of Library Instruction at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She was formerly Assistant Director for Public Services at Mabee Library of Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, where she served on the LibQUAL+(tm) Steering Committee and coordinated other large-scale assessment projects such as the Standardized Assessment of Information Literacy Skills, and the Wisconsin-Ohio Reference Evaluation Program. Jan earned her MLIS degree from the University of Alberta, and holds degrees from Queens University (B.Mus) and the University of Western Ontario (M.Mus). Slavko Manojlovich
For the past 19 years Slavko has managed the development of Memorial University of Newfoundland's automated library services from punch cards to virtual libraries. He is currently involved in a number of digitization initiatives associated with the preservation of Newfoundland culture but his primary interest is in grounding and/or providing real world experiences for the various library standards which are critical for the development of the ASIN Virtual Library/Portal. Todie Winter, formerly Assistant Project Manager for the Novanet Distance Education Pilot Project, is currently the Public Services Librarian at the Ferriss Hodgett Library, Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Memorial University of Newfoundland.
