Links are used to make a connection from the page you are on to another location either outside the server/domain, within the server/domain, within the page or as an email contact.
External - outside the server (www.library.mun.ca). Totally unrelated to the library server/domain (you mustuse the complete web address)
Internal - to link to pages within the library server relative linking is used.
The root for library server/domain is "http://www.library.mun.ca. To link to pages within this server you do NOT include this part of the address. Linking with the server is relative to where your current document is positioned.
Jump - Used within a page to move to a particular section (jump to sections of a longer document)
email - used for contact purposes
