Series-in-a-series classification policy

When creating a new "series within a series" retain the main series numbering rather than attempting to keep the subseries together as was done in the past. This means that we will discontinue the practice of numbering subseries as "no. 1454, etc./pt. 1", "no. 1454, etc./pt. 2" and so on, as was often the case in series such as Corpus Christianorum. Series Latina and Lecture notes in mathematics. Patrons will be led to the appropriate volume number within the main series by the call/item records which are listed on the subseries record.

Note that this policy is only for new series. If the "etc." series has already been established that way do not bother to change it over to the new format.

Example:

	Bede, the Venerable, Saint, 673-735.
	  [Works. 1955]
Bedae Venerabilis Opera. -- Turnholti : Brepols, 1955-
