A. ROUND-LEAVED SUNDEW.

Drosera rotundifolia L. Round leaves, about half-inch, covered with long red sticky hairs. Erect flower-stems, two to six inches, the flowering part rolled back. White flowers open in sunshine.--Bogs, wet ground. Europe, Britain. N. Amer., Nfld.--July.

B. 496. OBLONG SUNDEW.

Drosera intermedia Hayne: D. longifolia L. in part. Darker red oblong leaves, more upright than rotundifolia. Shorter and stouter flowering stem.--Bogs, not grass. Europe. N. Amer., Nfld.--July.

Drosera anglica Hudson. Resembling intermedia but longer, narrower, more upright leaves, larger flowers.--Bogs, Europe. N. Amer.; rare in Britain; Blomidon, Nfld. Rhodora, 1935.

B. 497. SLENDER-LEAVED SUNDEW.

Drosera linearis Goldie. Stem two to four inches. Long narrow leaves. Flowers white or pinkish. black seeds. Later to bloom than rotundifolia.--Bogs, pools, N. Amer., Nfld.--July. Rare and distinct. Blomidon, Pointe Riche. Rhodora, 1935. Drosera obovata Mert. & Koch.--W. Nfld. Rhodora, 1935. Fernald: "European. New to N. America." Lookout Mountain. "Usually considered a hybrid of D. anglica and D. rotundifolia.
